Meet Our Caring Staff
Katherin B. Aulds
Owner/Funeral Director
After owning and operating Katherin Aulds Florist for over 25 years, Katherin extended her personal service to the community by opening a funeral home. From the beginning she has been dedicated to providing the same level of excellence to our families as she has provided to her floral customers. She has now been doing so for over six years.
Katherin studied Mortuary Science at Southern University here in Shreveport, completed her internship and successfully passed the examination to be come a licensed Funeral Director. She is a proud member the National Funeral Directors Association, Louisiana Funeral Directors Association and Northwest Louisiana Funeral Directors Association.
Katherin is no stranger to Northwest Louisiana after moving here as a child and completing her high school education at C. E. Byrd in 1967. She was married to Lonnie Aulds (local businessman and Louisiana State Representative) until his death in 1984. She has one grown son, James, and also serves her Lord as an active part of the choir at Broadmoor Methodist Church.

Robert Matthews
General Manager-Licensed Funeral Director
Robert comes with many years of experience in caring for families experiencing loss. Robert began his funeral service at Rumph Mortuary in El Dorado, AR in June of 1980, just after graduating High School. He served his apprenticeship there until attending mortuary college at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and graduated with honors. In February, 1983, he returned to his hometown of Magnolia, AR where he was employed by Lewis Funeral Home. After several years there he moved to the small community of Stamps, AR. He began a tweny-year career with A. O Smith Funeral Home and for the past 10 he served as the General Manager. Robert holds the same moral and Christian views that have become the hallmark of the Aulds Funeral Home family. In June of 2008, the love of his life brought him to Shreveport and he was welcomed to our staff. He is also a proud member the National Funeral Directors Association, Louisiana Funeral Directors Association and Northwest Louisiana Funeral Directors Association.

Kenny Wright
Licensed Embalmer, Funeral Director
Kenny Wright joined the Aulds family after moving from southwest Arkansas in October of 2015. He is a licensed embalmer, funeral director, crematory operator, and licensed insurance agent. After graduating from Lewisville, Arkansas High School in 1999, he went to work for A.O. Smith Funeral Home until his departure in 2015. He graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service, Houston, Texas, in 2013. He is married to his beautiful wife and best friend, Melanie, with whom he shares five children; Jake, Sunni, Klaire, Katherine, and Elly. Mr. Wright stands experienced and ready to serve the good peoples of the Shreveport Bossier area.
