"Memories Last a Lifetime"

On the morning of March 28, 1964, a son was born by the name of Wilson "Jeffro" Thomas to the loving parents of Mr. & Mrs. LV and Elnora, "Haley" Thomas Owens. He was a joy to have among the rest of his siblings who loved him as well as spoiled him.

Affectionately known as "Jeffro" by everyone in Bossier, he loved people in general. He exhibited the love that God had for him. As a child, he seldom got in trouble. He had that smile that could melt anyone's heart. Because of his love for God and mankind, he decided to give his life to God by obeying His will and was baptized at Bossier Baptist Church under the leadership under the late Rev. Dr. C.L. Pennywell.

Jeffro was a friend to all. Times were not always perfect, but he never complained about his shortfalls. He was a giver and tried the best that he could to earn a living for his family. He never met a stranger. Of course, he was from a family of talkers and fun-loving aunts and uncles. A example to follow.

He was educated in the Bossier Parish school system. After graduating he worked hard and finally found his niche by working at the RV Collison repair.

On October 9, 2023, the voice of the Lord whispered to him and said, "Jeffro, come home. We have been waiting for you. It is time." At that moment, the spirit of the Lord held him by his hands as he walked through those pearly gates. He is now with those who have gone on before him. There he immediately saw those loved ones who were waiting to say welcome home: His mother and father, LV and Elnora Thomas Owens, his stepfather, Jessie Owens, his brothers, Booker T., and Kenneth Ray Thomas, grandparents and aunts and uncles and all angels of the Lord.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his best friend and queen of his life, Ms. Sherry Gordon (her children: Che'ayra, Sir Christopher Lord Branden & A'sharryah), his sisters, Carrie Thomas Adams, Linda Thomas Baker; his brothers Leon Thomas (Rebecca), Louis Thomas (Brenda), one great aunt, Lottie Joyce, and a wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins on the Jones and Thomas heirship, relatives, and friends.
