William Jonathan Wilder of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on November 11, 2024.  Jonathan was born on September 26, 1973, at Confederate Memorial in Shreveport, LA to Emma Jean Wilder Dean of Vivian, LA  and John Franklin Thomas of Atlanta, TX.  He was the proud father of two sons, William Jonathan Wilder, Jr. and Mason Lane Wilder of Shreveport, LA. Jonathan worked as a licensed plumber for Rinchuso's Plumbing & Heating.  He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Georgia Bulldogs play football every season.  Jonathan also enjoyed riding his Harley.  He tortured his children with his extreme fondness for country music.  Everyone who knew him would agree that he was a practical joker and loved life.

Jonathan is preceded in death by his mother, Emma Jean Dean and father, John Franklin Thomas, grandmother, Etta Lee Reneau and grandfather, William Noah Wilder.  He is survived by his sons, William and Mason.  He leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides and brothers and sisters from his father's family.

Cremation rights have been provided by Aulds Funeral Home of Shreveport.  The family will hold a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints at 200 Carroll Street, Shreveport, LA 71105.
