William Hale Thompson Jr. passed away on November 13th, 2022 at the age of 79 years old. His Wake will be held at Jennings Methodist Church in Marthaville, Louisiana at 9 A.M Saturday November 19th, 2022. His Funeral services will immediately follow at 11 A.M.

Mr. William was born in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana to Minnie Ola Thompson and William Hale Thompson Sr. who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death is his loving Wife Mary Thompson, his daughter Tracy Thompson and his brothers Jimmy, Johnny, Clyde and Bobby Thompson.

He is survived by his daughter Kelly Elizabeth Thompson, his brother Delbert Hamilton Thompson and his two grandchildren Taylor Anne Kirk and Caden Patrick Ingram, all of whom he loved greatly.

Mr. William loved to spend time with his family and showed everyone how to appreciate the outdoors as much as he did. William was happiest outside fishing with family or deer hunting. He was also an avid gardener. He also loved live music and getting out of the house with loved ones.

William had a heart of gold. He was the most open-minded, easy going and loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by each heart that he has touched and his memory will be greatly cherished.

He now rests within the Lord's loving arms, free of pain and all mortal suffering with his loved ones in the kingdom of Heaven for eternity.
