William “Bill” Reed passed away quietly at his home in South Bossier City on the evening of May 7, 2026, after a brief illness, with his beloved wife Theresa and close family by his side. Bill dedicated 34 years of service to public transportation through SporTran before retiring. He was known for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and love for family, fellowship, and the outdoors. His greatest passion was motorcycles and the brotherhood he shared through the Christian Motorcyclists Association. Riding brought him freedom, faith, and lifelong friendships. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Lucille Reed; sisters Patricia Byks and Kathleen Mears; and daughter Ashley Reed. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Theresa Casciola-Reed; sons Wesley Reed and Chris Reed and wife Britney; Theresa’s children Richard Procell, Jason Procell, Rhonda Davis and husband Greg, and Kristopher Kestler; sister Barbara Traweek; lifelong friends Rickey Gamble and J.W. Moore; three cherished grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, riding brothers, extended family, and friends.
