William Michael Snider
July 30, 1959 – October 22, 2025

William Michael Snider, better known to family and friends as "Mike" or "Mikey," of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, at the age of 66.

Born on July 30, 1959, Mike lived life with a relaxed spirit and a big heart. He never met a stranger and could always bring a smile to those around him. He was known as a "baby whisperer," able to calm any baby he held, and later found great joy in teasing those same children as they grew. Whether he was casting a line on a quiet day of fishing, cooking up something delicious, or sharing laughs with friends over a cold drink, Mike made sure to enjoy the simple things life had to offer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Snider; his brother, Donald Snider; and his great-nephews, Peyton Plunkett and Tripp Lewis.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, James and Kathy Snider, Larry and Debbie Snider, Dennise McKown, and Stacey and Charles Oleo; his daughters, Shaylon Long and Dayna Reeve; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who adored him.

Mike's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Anna Peske, Candy Mitchell, and Rob Furr for always being there when he needed a helping hand. A special thanks also goes to his niece, Amber Thorn, and his hospice nurses for their kindness, compassion, and gentle care during his final days.

Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his laughter, sense of humor, and easygoing nature will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Aulds Funeral Home.
