William O'Neal Green was born to the late Robert L. Green and Annie V. Hines on September 6, 1952 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

William O'Neal Green was a believer in Jesus Christ and accepted our Lord and Savior t a young age.

William attended Hollywood Elementary and Union High School in Caddo Parish. Neal was employed with Pepsi Cola as a driver and held various other jobs. He was an avid basketball player on Union High School teams and shared such a love of cooking that his late sister, Patricia, coined him "Chef Tell".

On January 26, 1973, William married Mary Elizabeth Clarkson, a.k.a. "Sunshine Lady". They were blessed with 6 children, 19 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Clarkson, one daughter, Stephanie Green, one sister, Patricia Frazier, and two brothers, Robert Green, Jr. and Arthur R. Green, Sr.

William leaves his cherished memories to: five children, Otha Green (Twanda), Shenita Green, Shirley Green, Sonya Benjamin, and Tony Green; four brothers, Otha Green, Kenneth Green (La-Wan), Richard Green, and Tony Green; three sisters, Laura Tucker, Joyce McGee, and Mary Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
