William Richard Evans III, lovingly known as Ricky Evans, age 36, of Minden, Louisiana, passed away on March 30, 2026.

Ricky was born on November 8, 1989. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought warmth and light to those around him.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Norma Jean Evans; his paternal grandparents, William Richard and Mary Evans; and his mother, Dreama Evans.

He is survived by his father, Billy Evans, and stepmother, Angela Evans; his brother, Austin Evans (Ali); his sister, Morgan Evans (Al); stepbrothers, Ryan Kelley (Stephanie) and Jeremy Kelly (Tia), a cherished aunt, Cynthia Addison, known as Aunt Cyn; a special little boy, Cadillac; nieces and nephew, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Ricky will be remembered for his funny, goofy spirit and his gentle, kind, and caring nature. He had a charismatic presence and a way of lighting up any room he entered. To know Ricky was to feel his warmth, his laughter, and the genuine love he carried for others. He was truly a bright light in the lives of many.

The joy he brought and the love he gave will continue to shine through all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with funeral services taking place on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Auld’s Funeral Home.
