William Paul "Bill" Brewton

Mr. Brewton died suddenly Saturday, May 6, 2023, in his home in Shreveport after having had two small strokes in the two years prior. He was born in Shreveport, LA where he spent most of his life. A highlight of his adolescence was living and surfing in Hawaii. He attended Fair Park High School and served briefly in the U.S. Army. His greatest enjoyment professionally was that of Land Surveyor.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Caswell Leake "Bunky" Brewton, Jr. and Mrs. Mary Helen Rambin Brewton; brother Mr. Robert "Bob" Brewton; first wife Mrs. Terrie Stewart Brewton Brooks.

Left to cherish his memory are brothers Mr. James "Jim" Brewton and Mr. John Brewton and wife Shannon; adult children Mrs. Christin Arnold, Mrs. Elizabeth Duck, and Mr. John "Davey" Brewton; son Mr. Michael Bennett and wife Carole; daughter Ms. Kimberley Brewton; grandchildren Mr. Brandon Bennett, Mrs. Katherine Sippola, Ms. Leslie Welch.
