IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Leo
Bone Sr.
August 29, 1932 – March 28, 2021
In loving memory of William Leo Bone, Sr. He went home after a brief illness on March 29 th 2021 at the age of 88.
He was preceded in death by parents William and Leo. He is survived by his cherished wife of 69 years – Fadra; their children William, Patricia, and Tamara; their grandchildren Billy, Cory, Chris, Christopher and Cody; their great grandchildren: Lillian, Brock, Wendell, Oliver and Marigold; and his beloved nieces and nephews.
He served in the Army National Guard as part of the Army Corps of Engineers. His career was spent with Louisiana Industrial, Red Stick, and Cintas. As a self-described "Rag Man," he worked in management and sales.
He was an avid bowler, is a member of the Louisiana 700 club and was admitted to the Louisiana Bowlers Hall of Fame in which he served as President. Golfing was also a beloved pastime. But he truly shined while sharing his love of fishing with friends and family in Grand Isle. His "Fish On!" exclamation excited all with the expectation of a whopper being pulled out of the Gulf. The Tarpon Rodeo and the crow's nest on 4 th July were settings for some of his most cherished memories. There is an endless list of friends from Grand Isle that we can't thank enough for the love and fellowship they shared with our family.
We would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the compassion and care given, and especially Jennifer who went above and beyond to help place him in hospice and to Amanda for being there for his passing to the Grandest Isle in Heaven.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time for family and friends.
