February 12, 1947 – October 13, 2023

William Charles Abbott, 76, entered eternal rest on October 13, 2023. Affectionately known as "Charles or Winemaker", he was born February 12, 1947, in Shreveport, LA to Pervis L. and Beulah M. Abbott.  Charles grew up in Shreveport, La where he accepted Christ, and was baptized at Mt. Paran B.C at an early age. Shortly after high school, he embarked on his career as an 18-wheeler truck driver for over 45 years.

His parents Pervis L and Beulah M. Abbott, two brothers James Edward Abbott and Pervis Leon Abbott Sr. and one brother-in-law, Madison Campbell Jr, preceded Charles in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Shelia Reliford, and Charlesetta Reliford; one grandson Elijah Reliford; one sister Carroll Abbott Campbell; three brothers Prophet John A. Abbott, Robert M. Abbott (Suzette) and Karl D. Abbott and a host of nieces, nephew, relatives, and friends.
