Wilbur "Jerry" Armitage
July 30,1938 ~    December 14, 2023

Jerry was born in Frenchburg, Kentucky to Benjamin and Rosa Armitage. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Armitage, son Michael Armitage, brothers Kenneth Armitage, Benny Armitage and sisters Freda Lyons, Lola Blevins, Wilma Hargrove and Audrey Conway.

After serving ten years in the USAF, he and his  family made Bossier City, Louisiana home. Mr. Armitage had a successful career of over 50 years in the Automobile Industry where he retired from his own business in 2013.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Pam Hardiman and Husband Dennis, Steve Armitage and wife Dondra, Nancie Holcomb, Kirk Armitage and wife Cheri and Deanna Zimmerman and husband Brad. Grandchildren Lindsey Robbins, Holley Chapman, Jessica Duos, Justin Markiel, Madyson Pittard  and Matthew Holcomb.
He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as other extended family and friends.

In honor of Dad's wishes, there will be a private family graveside service.
