Keithville, LA - Wayne E. Mulford, age 70, passed away on March 14th after a long battle with cancer. Reviewing of the body will be on March 17th at Aulds Funeral Home from 2 to 4pm. He will be laid to rest at the Veteran's Cemetery in Keithville, LA after a memorial service. Officiating will be Bro. Calvin Hubbard. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Margaret Mulford, and sister Arlene Mulford. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Charlotte Powell-Mulford, son, Douglas W. Mulford and his wife, Becky and three grandchildren, Christopher, Caitlyn, and Courtney. Brother, Verne Mulford and his wife Cheryl of Topeka, KS. Wayne was born in Kinsley, KS on August 13, 1942. Graduated from Garfield High School then joined the United States Air Force. Afterwards, he worked at Moffitt Volkswagon until joining the Shreveport Police Department retiring with 25 years service. Wayne also worked and retired from the Shreveport Airport Police with 15 years service.
