He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Patricia Ann Poswiatowski-Hendrix-Hayen, seven boys and two girls. Toni Usher, Bobby Gerald and Katie Haley, Billy and Carol Haley, Charles Robert Haley, Brian Haley, Joy and Frank Ross, Peter Haley, James Haley, and Joshua Haley.

Walter Haley worked 12 years for Stalburhan clothing  manufactory, in Brookhaven Ms. He taught himself to be an electrician and went on to commercial Marine and finally  a federal Electrician .He worked for 23 years for Morrison Knudson in Montana and before being hurt and retired to Mississippi.

They moved to Louisiana to be with Chuck and Beverly Hayen (Mrs  Haley's parents) until they died.

He leaves many grandchildren and great grand children and friends.
