Walda Lee Crawford Gaupp, age 80, passed peacefully on October 29, 2020.

Walda was born on January 20, 1940 in Saline, Louisiana to the marriage of Laura Lee Caskey Crawford and Walter Thomas Crawford. Walda is preceded in death by both parents, her two brothers John Roy Hennigan and Ernest Ray Hennigan, and one sister Joann Hennigan.

Walda retired from AT&T and Blue Springs School District in Independence, Missouri. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She loved to garden, play card games and dominoes with her dear friends. Walda was skilled in quilting and needle point. She was passionate about her favorite football and baseball teams.

Walda is survived by her loving daughter Paula Butler, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

A very special thank you for the love and care of Garden Park Nursing Home Facility and all personnel. She was greatly loved and will be missed by every life she touched.

A visitation for Walda will be held November 3, 2020 from 11am-12pm. A celebration of life will occur November 3, 2020 from 12pm-1pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church 5850 Buncomb Road, Shreveport, Louisiana.
