In Loving Memory of Virginia Marguerite Borel (Russell), Chicago, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 70 on September 21, 2019, at Heritage Manor in Bossier, Louisiana. Virginia was born on September 02, 1949 to Herman and Marguerite Russell. Virginia will be greeted in heaven by her parents and Grandson Dean Borel.

She is survived by her Daughters, Yvonne Marguerite Tovar- Escobedo (IL) and husband Jose, and Regina Francis Borel (LA).  Eight Grandchildren, David Tovar, Natalie Virginia Tovar, Desiree Marie Tovar, Jimmy Junior Tovar, Destiny Ann Olson, Di'Angelio Von Olson, Paris La'Shay Dixon, and La'Gia Ne'vaeh Borel and a host of family and friends who loved her especially Roderick Perry.

At the family's request, no service will be held. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Manor; Amanda, Shirley in wound care and Saint Joesph staff; Bryan, Betty, and Latosha, for their kind and compassionate care during Mom's prolonged illness.

"If flowers grow in heaven, Lord, then pick a bunch for me. Then place them in my mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while." Rest in peace, mom; we love you.
