Vickie Kennedy Henderson was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 20, 1965 to Shirley Ann Sirmons and Robert Leon Kennedy.

She was a graduate of Southwood High School. After completing high school she worked in sales and later managed apartment properties.

Vickie enjoyed cooking, watching lifetime, and planting (she definitely had a green thumb). She cherished her children and grandchildren in the most admirable way. She loved taking care of her family and helping others in any way that she could assist.

On April 11, 2024 this precious warrior was called home to be with the Lord. Vickie was preceded in death by her husband Donnie Ray Henderson, brothers Johnny Kennedy and Lloyd Kennedy, niece Amber Little Kennedy, great nephew Craig Little, Jr, uncle Kenneth Sirmon, grandmother Marie Cole, grandfather Marvin Sirmons

Her life will FOREVER be cherished by her three daughters: Brittany Montes (Alex Montes) of Lubbock,TX, Candace Henderson, Jesika Henderson; bonus daughter Rayvon Henderson; mother Shirley Sirmons; sister Donna Hull (Lloyd Hull, Summerville,South Carolina); sister in law Janice Kennedy of Mooringsport,LA ; brothers Jesse Kennedy of Belcher, LA and Robert L. Kennedy of Blanchard, LA. Eight Grandchildren KJ Douglas, Ne'Vaeh Webb, Diamond Webb, Alexis London, Camryn Henderson, Mordecai Gaulding-Montes (Lubbock, TX), Ezekiel-Montes (Lubbock, TX) and Cooper Thomas (Nebraska); bonus grandchildren Rayvon Henderson II and Tra'Von Henderson; bonus great grandchildren Tra'Von Henderson, Jr, Raleigh Henderson, and Damien Barnes; Aunt Linda Garza (Sammy Garza) of Pflugerville,TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
