Tu Pham, 76, of Bossier City, LA, passed away on September 10, 2022, at his home surrounded by family and friends after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Tu was born July 15, 1947, in Thua Thien-Hue, Vietnam, grew up in Nha Trang, Vietnam, and immigrated to the US in 1991 with his wife, four children, and nephew.

Tu is survived by his wife of 47 years, Hien Huynh and his four children: Tue Pham and his wife Phuong Vo, Hanh Pham and her husband Tan Le, Tri Pham and his wife Kieu Cao, and Phi Pham. He also leaves behind six grandchildren: Calvin, Tristan, Hannah, Hazel, Quinn and Olivia; his two sisters Lieu Pham and Lien Pham; and nephew Son Huynh.

Tu was a devoted husband, loving father and adored grandfather. He most enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He was an active member of his Vietnamese Buddhist Congregation in Shreveport. He loved gardening with his wife and traveling the world with his family and friends.

Tu had a beautiful smile that could brighten up the room and he will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

The family will receive friends for the Prayer Service at 10:00 am until 12:00 pm and visitation will follow after at 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Auld's Funeral Home on Saturday, September 17, 2022. A Memorial Service celebrating Tu's life will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 10:00 am at Auld's Funeral Home.
