Tonie Longino
December 27, 1946 – October 19, 2026
Tonie Longino, lovingly known as “Daddy” by his family, passed away on October 19, 2026, from cancer.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Victoria; infant daughter, Marcie Lynn; parents, Ruffin and Opal; twin brother, Robie; sisters, Jackie, Marie, and Elaine; and a special nephew, Roger.
Tonie is survived by his daughter, Holly; son, Anthony (Becky); grandchildren, Caleb, Carrie Ann, and Holliegh (Erik); and great-grandchildren, Remington, Colton, Jayce, Kinley, and Jaxson.
Daddy never met a stranger and was always ready to strike up a conversation with anyone he met. He had a strong work ethic and was happiest outside, working on a vehicle or lawn mower, tending the yard, or working in the garden. He loved fishing, duck hunting, and going on ATV rides with friends and family.
Daddy always made time to attend his grandchildren’s school activities, and everything he did was for his family.
He fixed old lawn mowers and gave them away at no charge, often making minor repairs for others free of charge as well. Daddy was always glad to lend a hand or offer financial help to someone in need.
Pallbearers will be Anthony, Caleb, Steve, David, Michael, and Brad.
Services will be held Thursday, October 22, 2026, at First Assembly of God, 1508 Ringgold Avenue, Coushatta, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor James Nailes. Burial will be at Thomas Wren Cemetery in Martin, Louisiana. There will be no graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The family extends a special thank-you to the nurses and staff at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Home for the love, care, and compassion shown to Daddy.
A special thank-you also goes to the nurses from Bristol Hospice for the excellent care and compassion they provided to Daddy and the entire family.
