TONDA SUE CLINE GUESS

April 17, 1946 - December 1, 2022

Tonda was born April 17, 1946, in Vivian, LA to Robert Cline and Evelyn Cline (Hodges).

God lovingly welcomed her to heaven December 1, 2022 where loved ones gone before were anxiously awaiting her arrival.

She grew up in Oil City, LA., loved nothing more than being around people, spending time with playmates as a little girl and surrounded by family and dear friends as a teenager and adult.  Her siblings were very important to her.  When baby sister, Tama, was born, Tonda tended to her as if she were her very own; she loved her so much.  This great love was later evidenced with her own children.  She had a special bond with aunts and uncles, sharing many laughs during their time together.

She loved playing piano, when her older brother wasn't trying to mess her up, and had a beautiful soprano voice, earning her the honor of singing with the Rebel Choir at North Caddo High School.  Sewing was one of her passions and she was one of the best.

Preceding her in death were her parents, maternal grandparents, Edgar and Mary McCalman, paternal grandparents, Lester and Wilma Cline, baby twin sisters, Janet Rae and Julia Kae, baby brother Donald DeWayne, nephew, Ty Cline, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Shannon Sue Guess, son, James Sean Guess and wife Holly;  grandson, Spencer, and granddaughters, Audrey and Amelia; brothers, Robert and wife, Susie, and Jimmy Cline and wife, Belinda; sisters, Sheila Page, Patti Statham and Tama Granlund and husband, Gary; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services, under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home, Shreveport, will be Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Memorial Gardens cemetery in Mooringsport, LA. with Bro. Doug Graham officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Shriners Children's Hospital, Shreveport, LA.
