On Monday January 14th, 2019, Thomas (Tommy) Emmet Bell, loving Husband and Father of six
children, passed away at the age of 62.
Tommy was born on October 5th, 1956 in Valdez, NC. to Charlotte Rose Croskey and Emmett W. Bell.
After his Parents deaths Tommy along with his Brothers were all handed down to his Sister Jacque
and Husband Tommy Weeks to raise these boys as their own children.
Tommy was a interior/ exterior Painter, a Carpenter, Plummer, Roofer, and Truck Driver. He ended
his career with the City Of Shreveport when he was forced to retire at a young age due to M.S. eventually
taking his life. Tommy out lived every single Doctors expectations of his life span only to prove to them
all, he was a fighter.
On October 29th, 1985 Tommy Married the love of his life, Audrey Schales Bell. Between the two of them
they had six children. Thomas Emmett Bell (deceased 2017), Kevin Dewayne Bell (deceased 1979), Robert
Michael Moody of Waskom, Tx, Nicki Stone/husband Tim Stone of Waskom, Tx, Shawn B Clay of Texarkana
and Monica Leanne Bell of Panola, Tx. 7 Grand Children and 1 Great Grand Son due this year.
Tommy had a passion for writing Music and playing his guitar. Tommy wrote and recorded many songs.
He wrote about the things that mattered in his life, his Wife and children among many other titles.
Tommy was proceeded by death by his Father Emmett and Mother Charlotte, two sons, Thomas and Kevin,
one Sister, Patti and Father Tommy Weeks.
Tommy is survived by his Wife Audrey, Mother, Jacque Weeks, Sisters Leesa/M.J. Weeks of Jacksonville,
Texas, Donna Bell of Kansas, Alayna /Ron Friudenberg of Angleton, Texas, Traci /Skip Tomlenson of
Magnolia, Arkansas, Four Brothers Marty/ Vicki Bell of Vista, California, Billy Bell of Springs, Texas, Ray and
Heather Weeks of Johnson City, Texas, Timmy Weeks of Pearland, Texas and adopted and life best friend
Russell and Marilyn Morgan of Angleton, Texas and many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
A very special Thank you to all the Sitters and Nurses in and out of Tommy's life and dear Friend all the
way until the bitter end of Tommy's Life, Clyde Perkins. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 19th, 2019 at
Aulds Funeral Home - 7849 E, Kings Hwy, Shreveport, La
Visitation: 1200 Noon until 2:00 p;.m. Service at 2:00 following Visitation
Food and refreshments served at 8839 Hedges Dr, Shreveport, La Home of Scott and Penny
following the service.
