Graveside services for Tim Jones, age 60, of Cotton Valley, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Cotton Valley Cemetery (Highway 160 East) with, Rev. Kenneth DeHart officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm at First United Pentecostal Church in Cotton Valley (21317 US-371, Cotton Valley, LA 71018).
Mr. Jones was born on December 12, 1961, to Hershell Allen and Linda Stone Jones in Nashville, Arkansas and suddenly passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022, in Cotton Valley, LA. Tim had a love for football, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Tim enjoyed being outside, playing with his sons and spending quality time with his wife, Tuesday. Some of his favorite memories were playing football for the Cotton Valley Wildcats and the Glenbrook Apaches. He also played for the Northeast Indians (ULM) but gave it up to focus on earning a degree in Occupational Therapy. He began his O.T. career at LSU Shreveport working in the Burn Unit. Later in Tim's career he went to work for Schumpert, specializing in Wound Care. He had a passion for his job and a heart for each patient. Tim was a kind, giving, and loving soul who will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his wife Tuesday Coyle Jones of Cotton Valley, LA; father Hershell Jones and wife Shirley of Cotton Valley, LA; brother Marty Jones and wife Carmon of Bossier City; four sons, Caleb Jones and wife Stephanie of Benton, Cody Jones and fiancé McKenzie of Benton, Wyatt Jones of Cotton Valley, Henry Jones of Cotton Valley; step-daughter, Kylie Baker of Cotton Valley; step-son, Noah Baker of Cotton Valley; two granddaughters, Melainah and Vivian Jones of Benton; two nephews, Noah Jones and wife Megan of Fayetteville, AR, Zachary Jones of Bossier City; and niece, Madison Jones of Bossier City.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Jones.
