IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas Arthur
Johnson
June 7, 1965 – January 19, 2022
Our beloved son, brother, father, and friend, Thomas (Tommy) Arthur Johnson, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Carpenter House Hospice Facility in Shreveport, Louisiana due to diabetic hypoglycemia.
Tommy was born June 7, 1965 to Paul Johnson Sr. and Barbara Johnson Shepherd in Holyoke, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of Haughton High School. At an early age, "Tommy", was always a smart and curious child. Sometimes his curiosity got the best of him. As he grew up he was quick to make friends and was a loyal and loving friend. He married several times and had 4 children and 2 stepchildren. He has 1 granddaughter and 1
more grandchild on the way. These children were the loves of his life. Tommy worked his whole life in management up until 2010, when he started having health issues. He then became disabled. This discouraged him as he was a very smart man and didn't cope well with not being able to work anymore. Although his working days were over, he still enjoyed being around his family, his children, and his nieces, and nephews. He had special bonds with many of his nieces and nephews. They will always hold a special place in their hearts for their Uncle Tommy. Tommy loved his baseball caps, comic books, wrestling, football, fishing, the band KISS, collecting trading cards, and his time at the casino.
Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Paul Johnson Sr. and his daughter, Mckenzie Johnson.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Barbara Shepherd of Benton, Louisiana; his daughter, Kayleigh and husband Michael Boykin; granddaughter, Emily and unborn baby, Boykin of Bossier City, Louisiana; his son, Tyler Johnson and daughter, Hayden Johnson of Heiskell, Tennessee.
His stepson Curtis Moore and stepdaughter Megan Moore from Tennessee; his brother, Paul Johnson Jr. and wife Dianne, their children and grandchildren from Palm Springs, California; his sister, Brenda Modisette and husband Buddy from Benton, Louisiana, their children and
grandchildren; his brother, J.J. Johnson from the Philippines; his sister, Catherine Thompson and husband Chad and their children from West
Virginia; his brother from another mother, Curtis Canter and wife Mickie from Bossier City, their children and grandchildren; sister, Fern Johnson from Princeton, Louisiana and her family; niece, Kendall and husband Cedrick Webster and children I'Zayah, Kameron and Rylee Webster;
nephew, Billy Cassel and wife Brooke and children Jakob, Kaleb and Baylee Cassel; niece, Valerie Collom and children Nicholas, Wyatt, Mason, Caitlin, Kerrigan and Everleigh Collom; niece, Chelse' and husband Dylan Adams and children Jordan, Jenna and Camdyn.
Tommy was loved by many, and we will miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in Tommy's name would be greatly appreciated.
