Thomas L Hill, born September 20, 1950, passed to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 4, 2021. He is survived by the love of his life, wife, Dianne, his daughters Sarah and Elisabeth, his grandchildren, David, Morgan, Elisha and Braylee. Sons-in-law, Steven and Jeremy. Brothers Dan and Marc, sisters Becki, Carolyn and Mary. Mother-in-law Betty Richardson. Brother-in-law Jack and his wife Alane, Nephews Caleb, Jonathan, Alik, Kris, Travis, Dylan, and Tyler and nieces Ariel and Jessica. and many others in extended family. His is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Hazel, Father-in-law Ralph Richardson, siblings Jimmy and Geri.

Services will be held at Gateway Church, 8925 Youree Drive, Shreveport, LA 71115, on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd, Keithville, LA 71047 at 1 pm.

Tom spent his life in service to others. First to his lord and savior Jesus Christ which guided every relationship and decision. He was a soldier, a carpenter, a big brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, an uncle, a pastor and a friend and mentor to many. He was loved by people too numerous to count.  He was our hero and our champion.

He was a decorated soldier who was awarded a double Purple Heart for his service in Viet Nam, he graduated with his bachelor's degree in Pastoral Counseling from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and his master's degree in Counseling and Psychology from East Texas State University.  His greatest achievement in life was leading souls to the Lord. That's what he would say he was proudest of.
