Thomas Norman Beach, 74, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away January 29, 2022. Tom was born August 30, 1947. He graduated from Fair Park High School, served in the U.S. Air Force, and worked for KCS Railroad in the diesel shop until he retired in 2002. Tom and his late wife, Deborah, were married for 50 years and spent many happy retirement years living in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Tom returned to Shreveport after Deborah passed away in 2016. For the last several months, he was a resident at the Northwest Louisiana War Veterans Home, where he received excellent care from the kind and patient staff.
Tom was predeceased by his parents Cleo and Mary Beach, wife Deborah Davison Beach, and sister Sue Beach Moore.
Those left to cherish his memory include daughter Tommie Beach Slatten and husband Chris of Shreveport; daughter Samantha Beach-Fletcher and husband Ryan of Coweta, Oklahoma; and grandchildren Laila Beach-Fletcher and Oliver Fletcher.
Tom loved spending time with his family, and he was always happy to join them for breakfast at Waffle House or to watch a good Hallmark movie. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated, and he and Deborah will be interred together at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. A service will be held at the cemetery on February 11 at 2:00 p.m.
