Theodore "Tad" Lewis Christie, 52, was born in Dallas, Texas on June 14, 1971 and passed away on January 8th, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Tad joined Heaven to be along-side Mother Cecelia Mae Burroughs, and his brother Paul Christie joined soon thereafter.

Tad is survived by his Father James Henry Christie, his brother James "Jim" Ray Christie and Susan Kay Christie, his Ex-Wife Stephanie Ann Christie, his eldest son Tyler James Christie, Twins Savannah Rae Christie and Dylan Lewis Christie, Nieces Kaityln Gomez and Ashley O'Donnell, Nephews Kyle Christie, Zach Christie, Allen Christie, Donovan Brown, Levi Christie, and many other Nieces, Nephews, Uncles and Aunts and friends, and special friend Laura Phillip, all of whom loved and respected Tad.

Tad was a proud and loving father, full of pride and joy, who could command a room simply through his comedic essence and charisma alone. He had a special place in his heart for his children and family; and a special place in his heart for anyone, family or not, in need. He loved Sports, coaching multiple adolescent-aged football and basketball leagues his sons played in growing up, and not to forget his love of Dallas Cowboy Football.

Tad was truly an eccentric, one of a kind soul that will forever be loved and missed. His legacy will live on through his 3 children and now he is forever in peace. "Those who, when an affliction visits them, say, 'Verily we belong to God, and verily to Him do we return."

Funeral services for Theodore "Tad" Lewis Christie will be held on this Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at Auld's Funeral Home from 2-4 PM. Auld's funeral home will be located at 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71115.
