Tena Marie Cantley Henshaw was born on May 15, 1942, in Bossier City, Louisiana, to Rayford and Lula (McCartney) Cantley and she passed away at her home in Keithville, Louisiana, on May 21, 2024.

Preceding Tena in death are her parents, Rayford and Lula Mae Cantley; one sister, Edna Pearl Wallace; her two brothers, Lamar and Denzil Cantley; and her husband, Jim Henshaw.

She is survived by her five children, Syrenia Martin and husband, Marshall, Becky Hunter and her husband, Kerry, Donna Bishop and her husband, Ken, Johnny McDaniel, and Jerri Garrett and her husband, Trey; her sister, Ruth Howard; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and the ladies in her Prayer Meeting Group.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at The Healing Place @ Glad Tidings, 8957 Kingston Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71118.  Scott Etheridge, Lennie Lindsey, and Matt Moreno will be officiating.
