Our family is saddened to announce the passing of TC Davis, a resident
of Bossier City, Louisiana and formerly of Florence, South Carolina. TC
was born on January 7, 1933, in Chesterfield, South Carolina. TC passed
on January 24, 2022. He is survived by son Richard Davis and wife
Donna, of Commerce City, CO; daughter Pateece Hardy, of Bossier City,
LA; and daughter P.J. Oran and husband Ronald, of Houston, TX; along
with 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, as well as favorite
niece, Linda Matthews. TC was predeceased by his parents, Thomas
and Nell Davis, brother Gerald Davis, and sisters Ruby Smith and Nancy
Mangum.
TC's family was especially proud of his service in the United States Air
Force during the Korean War, where he was awarded several medals
and citations. After his military service, TC was a long-time employee at
Schering-Plough Pharmaceutical Company where he was loyal,
hardworking and committed.
Once retired, TC enjoyed his hobbies of hunting, fishing, and
marksmanship. We know he is enjoying his time in heaven sharing
about the "one that got away."
The family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank you" to Dr. Corky
Davis, Dr. Erin Clements, Dr. Meghan Harris and Dr. David Henry for the
loving support and continued health care of TC over the years.
In accordance with the request of TC, a memorial service will be held
June 18, 2022, at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Chesterfield, S.C.
@11 a.m. TC was a private person, but he was an important part of his
community and his loss is deeply felt.
