Mr. Talmadge Russ was born February 13, 1961, to Mrs. Lillian Bernice Russ Carson and James W. Jamison of Shreveport, LA. Talmadge accepted Christ at an early age.  He was baptized at Evergreen Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Charlie Jefferson.

Talmadge was greatly loved by family and friends. In his leisure time, he enjoyed cooking, watching the Dallas Cowboys, spending time with siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Russ; father, John W. Jamison, brothers, Eddie Wilbert, Warren, Mancil, David and Nash; and sister, Audrey Patrice Russ.

Talmadge leaves to cherish his memory, mother: Lillian Bernice Russ Carson; sisters: Linda Russ Newman (Steven), Etoile Russ Swift, and Stephanie Lynn Carson; brothers: Dwight Sylvester Russ (Joan), Carl Tyrone Russ (Ynonnie Tracy), and Harold Russ; One son,Talmadge Lamar Smith; four grandchildren: Kiearia Stringer, Kambriea Andre' Harrell, Kennia Harrell, and Ka'mya La'Kira Beamon and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
