Suzanne Ellen Corley Barnes

Suzanne Ellen Corley Barnes, 59, passed away on November 25, 2025, at Willis Knighton Pierremont Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Evelyn Corley; her daughter, Jessica Vanlandingham; and her ex-husband, Stephen L. Barnes.

Suzanne is survived by her children: Jeffery Corley, Felicia Corley, Devin Corley, Lindsay Cattermole, and Dakota Corley. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Rylan Shaw, Ryker Shaw, Chloe Nelson, Colton Nelson, and Cohen Nelson.

A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Suzanne was a proud graduate of Captain Shreve High School. She later attended trade school, where she completed her training as a pipe-fitter fabricator—work she took pride in and approached with dedication and skill.

Suzanne was known for her warm smile, even in difficult times, and for a quiet strength that guided her through every chapter of life. She embraced each moment she was given and cherished the time spent with those she loved. She made her home in Winnfield, Louisiana, where she was surrounded by family, friends, and a community that cared deeply for her.
