Susan Marie "SuSu" Guccione 78, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on June 15, 2024. She was born on February 4, 1946, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Wilma, John Guccione, and stepmother Doris Guccione.

Susan known affectionately as "SuSu," was passionate about bird watching, photography, and reading Stephen King novels. She was a warm and loving individual who easily made friends. Susan also held a special place in her heart for Elvis Presley, even serving as fan club president.

In her career, Susan retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board, where she worked as a secretary and contributed to adult education. She was dedicated to her work and made a positive impact on those around her.

Susan will be deeply missed by her sisters, Dede McBride and Jena Guccione, nieces and nephews: Lauren Zeidan and husband Sam, Charlotte Santos, Hugh Santos Jr, and husband Jimmy, as well as her 7 great nieces and nephews. She will also be greatly missed by numerous other family members.

Susan's kind-hearted nature and vibrant spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial will be held at Hook & Ladder Cemetery in Gretna, LA on Friday, June 2, 2024 at 2pm.
