Susan Rebecca Stoker Newton, 53, passed away on April 26, 2025. She was born October 17, 1971, in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she made her home surrounded by those she loved most. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley Burkett Stoker and Thomas Marshall Stoker.

Susan loved NASCAR, Halloween, and all of God's small creatures. An optimist with a generous heart, she saw the best in everyone. Throughout her long battle with cancer, she remained focused on helping others.

Though she had no children of her own, Susan poured her love into her nieces, nephews, and the children and grandchildren of dear friends—who brought her endless joy.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Newton; her siblings, Dalton Stoker and wife Roxanne, Jeff Stoker, and Sharon Stoker Laurent and husband Steve; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

The family invites you to share stories and celebrate Susan's life on May 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon at Auld's Funeral Home.
