A celebration of the life of Susan Wales Jinks will take place at Auld's Funeral Home 7849 East Kings Highway (Behind LSUS) on Tuesday March 9th. Visitation will begin at 5:00 and our good friend and Clergy Charley Cameron will officiate the service that will begin at 6:30. I, Jerry Jinks, cannot express in words, the profound grief I am feeling after losing my loving Wife of twenty four years. Susan had a smile that would light up a room and a patient, thoughtful demeanor that could only have been instilled in her upbringing by her loving parents and family in Nashville TN. her place of birth. Susan's desire to come home to Tennessee will be honored by the return of her ashes to her family for a service there. In all of the years that we were married she recalled each of her parent's birthdates every year and told me the age they would have lived to be. She did the same for her departed brother Donald, who preceded Susan in death. Susan was the youngest child of Joe and Callie Wales. She is survived by myself her Husband, Jerry Jinks, brother- in- laws Jack Jinks and his son Jackson Jinks Jr. and Jim Jinks and wife Ann, nieces Joan Asseff Brownlee and husband Jason Brownlee and their children and Lesley- Anne Beadles and her husband John, their children, and her father Robert Reed. Susan's roots were in Nashville Tennessee. She is survived by her brothers Joe "Tommy" Wales and his wife Judi of Lyles TN. Rick and Lori Wales of White House TN. sister in law Robbie Wales of Burns Tennessee as well as numerous Nieces, Nephews and cousins and extended Family members. Ruby (Terry) Grisham of Hendersonville TN. and cousin Betty Rollins Bell. A special mention for our friends Nancy and Charles Collins and Charley Cameron, as well as my brothers Jack and Jim Jinks, and my Niece Joan Asseff Brownlee whos hours of presence and comfort helped me through Susan's final days.
