A memorial service will be held January 8, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 204 Patton Ave., celebrating the life of Stuart Shannon, 67, of Bossier City, LA, who passed away on December 24, 2019.

Stuart was born in Melbourne, Arkansas on November 5, 1952 to Karr Shannon, Jr., M.D., and Josepha Shannon.

After earning his MBA from Centenary College, Stuart worked as a manager of T.S. Station Restaurant in Shreveport for many years where his sharp wit and infectious laugh drew many loyal customers and friends. Stuart loved LSU football and was an avid golfer.

Stuart was predeceased by his parents, Karr and Josepha, and he is survived by one brother, Karr Shannon, III, of Coral Gables, FL.

There will be a gathering of friends and family following the service at Marilynn's Place on Fern Ave. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice or to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
