Shreveport, LA - Mr. Stuart B. Jones, age 73, entered eternal rest July 17, 2016.  Stuart was born March 9, 1943 in Shreveport.  After many years faithful service, he retired in 2000 as Senior Analyst for Duke Energy. His favorite pastime was spent on the banks of Caddo Lake and the golf course at East Ridge Country Club. Stuart, or "Stu" as called by friends and relatives, was quick witted and enjoyed sharing a laugh with everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edna and J. Reese Jones, Jr. of Shreveport.                  .
Stu is survived by his wife Charlotte B. Jones; daughter Charlotte Dawn Jones-Fry and husband Casey, grandkids Seth and Asher, sister Ginger Stelly-White and husband Galen, along with many wonderful cousins and other kinfolk scattered across Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas.
An informal memorial service will be held at East Ridge Country Club at 4:00 pm Saturday,
July 23, 2016, officiated by James Flurry. Friends and family will be given the opportunity to speak.
