Steven Douglas Bynog was born April 19, 1967 at Minden Sanitarium to proud parents Lonnie Bailey and Beatrice Bynog. Steve attended school and made lifelong friends in Minden. At age 18, he fulfilled a dream and joined the United States Army 82nd Airborne. After service, Steve returned to MInden where he made his home and raised his family.

On August 16, 2023 a sudden illness took Steve's life. He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved daughter ShaeLee, sister Jenny, and little brother Paul, also great nephew Libe Aris Matthews. Steve is survived by fiance Sonya Hunter, daughter Christina Lyn Hall, sisters Brenda Rushing, Janie Bynog, Melonie Calhoun. Brothers James Ira Martin, David Martin, and Joe Martin. Steve had numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins but held a lifetime special bond with his niece Ariel Savannah Vascocu.

Steve will be missed but he always said "When it's my time, yall celebrate" so friends and family bring pictures, stories and memories. We are celebrating Steve on Sept 3, at 4pm. at Faith Restoration Church, Brother Todd Hennigan officiating.
