Stephen Lamar Prudhomme, aka Stoney, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Christus Highland Hospital in Shreveport. He was born on October 14, 1961, in Smackover, Arkansas to Garland J Prudhomme, Sr and Helen C. Triplet Prudhomme.

Stephen was preceded in death by his wife Kellie Forrester Prudhomme; parents Garland J. Prudhomme, Sr and Helen C. Triplet Prudhomme; siblings James Ray Prudhomme, Gordon Wayne Prudhomme, Gary Wayne Prudhomme, Garland Joseph Prudhomme, Jr, and Anne Prudhomme Atkins.

Left to cherish his memory are two sons Brandon Forrester and Waylon Prudhomme; granddaughter Madison Forrester; grandson Lelane Prudhomme; three sisters Fannie Dean, Linda Hemsley, and Mary Procell; brother Robert Prudhomme; numerous nieces, nephews, and greats.

Visitation is from 5-7pm Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Aulds Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, January 9, 2026, at Aulds Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are Jonathan Perrin, Tyler Barber, Jason Prudhomme, Caleb Barber, Richard Hemsley, Jr, Jonathan Sellers, and Joey Beck.
