Stephen Ray North

Stephen Ray North was born in Troy Ohio to Gareld and Thelma North. He devoted 20 years to the United States Air Force where he retired. He also retired from the Bossier City water Department. During retirement he rode with the Bossier Parish Possi for many years. Steve had a love of fishing and gardening. During his military career he served at Andrews Air Force Base where he served in the Presidential unit for four years. It was one of his proudest accomplishments. He was able to travel the world, meet many new people and see things most people only dream of. Steve was the type of person everyone noticed once he walked in the room, mainly because he would make you talk to him and always wanted a hug. There wasn't a soul safe from his hugs. He is survived by the love of his life of 57 years Martha North, Son Brian North and wife Kim and Daughter Theresa North. Grandsons Jason North and wife Leslie, Jacob North and wife Kayla, Granddaughter Melissa Spitz. Great grandkids  Kamberlee Butterworth Andrew North Eli North and Evangeline North Brother James North and Sister Pam Rudy as well as Several nieces and nephews He is proceeded in death  by his Mother and Father Thelma and Gerald North and brothers Gary North and Phillip North. Steve will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 2pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023, with military honors to follow at the conclusion.
