Shelia Bedgood McGill

5/28/1956-4/1/2025

Shelia Bedgood McGill passed away on April 1, 2025 at the age of 68.  She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Bedgood, and in-laws Billy and Betty McGill.

She is survived by her mother Winnie Bedgood, two sisters Pat Gentry and husband Leo, Connie Miller, and one brother, Ken Bedgood  wife Debbie.  She is also survived by the joys of her life.  Two sons, Joey McGill and wife Jaime, and Chris McGill, and one daughter, Angel Rogers and husband Alex, also four very special grandsons, Kayden, Braxtyn, Carson and Waylon, as well as, a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Shelia found Christ as a teenager and has worshipped him every day since.  Through Christ and her strong faith, she was able to raise her three children as a single parent.  She was a strong, loving and caring person, for her children were her number one priority.  No matter how bad hard times got, she knew God was with her and would watch over her family.

Later on she became a grandmother.  Her life was now complete.  For her grandchildren made her the happiest and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for them.  But as she became sicker with her cancer, her only regret is not being here to watch them grow into young adults.

Now a last word from Shelia – "Please don't cry for me for I am going to heaven.  I'm going to meet Jesus and I will have a new body and no more pain.

A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
