IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sharon Kay
Varnell
April 26, 1957 – May 29, 2021
Sharon Kay Varnell was born on April 26, 1957, in Monroe, LA. Sharon passed from this life to her new heavenly home while in the hospital on May 29, 2021, due to complications of COVID pneumonia. She was diagnosed five years ago with liver disease and a weak kidney due to being a severe diabetic. Sharon was blessed to get a liver and a kidney transplant two years ago that was a perfect blood match which gave her a better life these past two years. Sharon was blessed to be married to her husband, Roger for 46 years. They were truly one in Christ and had a blessed marriage for they only had each other. Her beloved dog, Karbo of 10 ½ years passed away 4 years ago which left a void in their lives. Sharon and Roger are survived by Brownie-their pet of 9 years. These are their special children.
Sharon had a very giving heart in every way. Every birthday and Christmas she loved to buy gifts for every one of her nieces and nephews. Sharon was a very tender-hearted person and could cry at the drop of a hat. In this life all she asked was to be loved for she gave plenty of love out to family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Roger; mother, Jeanette Sharbono; mother-in-law, Betty Varnell; brother, Gary Humphries; sisters-in-law, Brenda Deville and Cindi Varnell; brothers-in-law, Kenny and Billy Varnell; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Menard and husband, Chris; Jason Humphries and wife, Tory; Brandi Humphries; Autumn Humphries; Ashlea Humphries; and David Humphries, as well as a host of great nieces and nephews.
