Shannon Michael Keener, 49, passed away on June 3, 2024, in Mira, Louisiana. Born on May 16, 1975, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Shannon spent his career in the paint and body industry where he skillfully painted cars, a job that captured his meticulous nature and artistic spirit.

Beyond his professional life, Shannon was a loving father and enthusiastic pool player. He cherished the time spent playing pool, a hobby that was both a passion and a pastime, allowing him to unwind and connect with friends and family. His love for spending time with his boys, was evident, as he took great joy in sharing life's simple moments with them. Shannon faced many challenges, but his love for others showed as he would give the shirt off his back to anyone.

Shannon is survived by his loving parents, Elton and Mary Coats; siblings and their spouses Brad and Barbara, Tonya and John, Bryon and Reagan, and Christy and James; children and their significant others Pete and Alexis, Mason and Makayla, and Copeland and Madison. Shannon was also a cherished grandfather to Lia, Michael, Clay, Riley, and the soon-to-be born Bradley Boyd.
