Shreveport, LA - Sarah (Marge) Gibson, age 96, passed away on October 1, 2015. Marge was born October 16, 1918 in Ashville, NC, then moved to Pleasant Hills, PA, then retiring to Pinehurst, NC, until the death of her husband Kenneth Gibson. She moved to Shreveport, LA to be with her only daughter Karen Owens and grandchildren Margo and Travis, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Charles McDowell, Kat McDowell, Nell Palmer, and Isabel Taylor. Memorial services will be held Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Aulds Funeral Home Chapel. She will be buried in Pleasant Hills, PA.
