Sandra Coryn Owens (nee Eads), aged 58 years, passed away on February 18 in Mansfield, Louisiana.

Sandy, SannyO, Seester, Granny Sanny was born on September 20, 1966, in Maryland to Robert and Beverly Eads.

The mother of Cate Watkins and Sam Skinner, Sandy was the smartest knucklehead you ever met.  She was the youngest of four and spent most her life living up to that role.

Sandy loved big.

She loved music, often belting out the chorus to songs from nearly every genre in nearly every decade.

She loved nature, as evidenced by an abundance of rocks and plants letting you know Sandy had been there.

She had a strong love for animals and was known to rescue cats. All. The. Cats.  Anyone want a cat?

She loved to paint. Nearly every person she's ever loved has one or ten of her paintings in their home as well as a trail of acrylic paints and brushes.

Above all of this, she loved her granddaughters the most. Rylee, Kaylee, Nola, Hayes Caroline (bum, bum, bum) and Evan-Claire (as Sandy affectionately referred to as E-Claire), Granny Sanny loved you more than all the Reese cups in the world.  Life often had her by the tail but we have never witnessed a bigger love than what she had for the five of you.  Continue creating, keep singing, just keep swimming.

We will miss you forever.
