Sandra "Sandie" Kay Frantz of Colorado Springs, CO passed away in Shreveport, LA on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the age of 79. She was born Sandra Kay Marie Felix on March 25, 1940 in Faribault, MN to Roger H. and Beatrice M. Felix.

Most of Sandie's employment was with Aurora Public Schools as a bus driver and then spent the majority of her later years with Wal-Mart. Sandie was employed with Wal-Mart for 16 years with her last position there being a people greeter. Sadly, she was diagnosed with fast progressing dementia and had to end her employment. Her dementia then quickly progressed to become Alzheimer's.

She was joined in holy matrimony with Floyd "Fritz" Alvin Frantz in 1967. Floyd was a father of five upon their nuptials and they adopted their youngest daughter in 1970. Floyd preceded her in death on November 23, 2000.

She was also preceded in death by both of her parents.

Sandie's favorite sport was football and she was a superfan of the Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings. What she enjoyed most of all was reading and known to read a book a day.

Sandie leaves to cherish her memories five daughters; Nicole (Joseph) Franklin of Colorado Springs, Lisa (Mark) Landers of Elbert, Nancy (David) Marlow of Aurora, Tina Beebe of Castle Rock, Sherry (Henry) Felix of Phoenix, one son; Lloyd Frantz of Bennett, two brothers; Henry (Sherry) Felix of Phoenix and Michael (Brenda) Felix of Independence. Also, seven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Per Sandie's long time wishes, there will be no services.
