Sam "Sammy T" went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2018 after a stroke.  He was born in Grand Bayou, LA on September 11, 1934.  A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, August 6, 2018.
Sammy retired from Exide Battery in 2001.  He has many friends and relatives who will miss him greatly.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Sallie Walker Lee, father Samuel T. Lee, Sr., mother Mary Coma Pickett, brothers Milton Lee, Walter Lee and John Lee.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He leaves behind three children, Linda McBee and husband Reggie McBee, Laura Tidwell and Samuel "Trey" T. Lee, III; five grandchildren Melissa McBee, Robert McBee, Matthew McBee, Richard Tidwell,  and Courtney Tidwell.  He also leaves behind two great grandchildren Isabella Tidwell and Grant McBee.  He also leaves behind his long-time friend and companion Patsy Patrick.
We would like to thank all the doctors who helped him especially Dr. Robert Hernandez and staff, University Hospital MICU and Aime Hospice.
