Roy Gene Tubbs, 64 of Haughton, La was called home Sunday, September 14, 2025. He was born May 9,1961 in Shreveport, La to Douglas & Lavern Tubbs.  Roy worked with Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development as a Bridge Foreman for 30 years before retiring in 2009. Roy was a hard worker who loved his family deeply.  In his younger years he enjoyed horseback riding and rodeos. Recent years he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and riding around Bodcau and Ivan. He was proud of his family and fond of his trucks, and his dog, Rocky. He was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas & Lavern Tubbs. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lisa Tubbs, two daughters Cynthia Joncas, her husband Brian and Sharlot Cooper, her husband Josh. His grandchildren, Nathan & Ian Joncas, and Corey & Kylie Cooper. His brother Robert Tubbs, niece Stephanie Massei, and nephew Robbie Tubbs.

A memorial service will be held Monday September 22nd at one o'clock with Pastor Gevan Spinney at Aulds Funeral Home 7849 E. Kings Hwy Shreveport, La 71115.
