Roy J. Etheredge, 67, passed away in his sleep at home on Thursday, February 1, 2018 in Benton, Louisiana. He was born August 1, 1950 to George and Fannie Mae Etheredge in Shreveport, La. On May 29, 1970 he married Wanda J. Greer in Bossier City, La.



Survivors include his wife Wanda; his two sons, Brian Etheredge (Jennifer) of Murphy, Tx., and Carey Etheredge (Lesha) of Natchitoches, La.; four grandchildren Rebecca, Morgan, Logan, and Jacob. One brother, Cecil Miller (Sharon), two sisters, Patsy Tubbs and Sophia Howard, and two sisters-in-law, Judy and Lucy; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.



He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; father & mother-in-law, Jack & Marie Greer; three brothers, Jerry, Jimmy, and Coleman; three sisters, Bessie Mae, Mary Allen, and Joyce.



Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 10:00am in the Faith Chapel at First Baptist Bossier, located at 2810 E. Texas St. Bossier City, La 71111 with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am.
