Ronald Dale Frazier was born January 19, 1950, in Columbia, LA to Charlie and Marceil Frazier and passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Ronnie grew up in Shreveport, LA and was a 45 year resident of Stonewall, LA. In 1968, he proudly played for the Woodlawn Knights, leading them to the school's first State Championship, a moment that would forever hold a special place in his heart. He graduated from high school in 1969 and attended Northwestern State University, graduating in 1973 with a business degree.
On April 3, 1971, Ronnie married the love of his life, Donna Kavalawski, and together they shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Ronnie's greatest joy in life came from his family and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Ronnie excelled as an insurance adjuster for 30 years. He was the proud owner of Southern Insurance Adjusting and retired from USAA Insurance. After retirement, Ronnie embarked on a new adventure with Kona Ice and became locally known as "The Snow Cone Man", bringing joy and smiles to countless children for six years.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Ronnie's true passions were spending time with his family, cheering on his grandchildren in their various sports and activities and enjoying the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and amateur rock collector. He enjoyed nature daily with his walks with his two boykin spaniels.
Ronnie was a devoted fan of the North DeSoto Griffins. He could often be found cheering enthusiastically from the stands, showing unwavering support for the teams and its players. His passion for the Griffins reflected his deep connection to the community and his love for sports.
Ronnie will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering love touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Ronnie is preceeded in death by his parents and brothers Charlie Glenn Frazier and Champ Frazier.
He is survived by his beloved wife Donna, and their three children: Kelly Clifton (Michael), Addie Gibson (Brent), and Cash Frazier (Randi). Ronnie's legacy lives on through his nine grandchildren: Justin Clifton (Bailey), Peyton Clifton, Bradley Gibson, Jackson Gibson, Zachary Clifton, Katelyn Gibson, Allyson Gibson, Ella Frazier, and Piper Frazier. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Taylor, brother Steve Frazier and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Ronnie's life will be held on May 18, 2024, at Salem Baptist Church in Stonewall, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am, allowing friends and loved ones to pay their respects. The memorial service will follow at 10:00 am.
