Shreveport, LA - Ronald "R.D.: Ashley, 53, went to be with his heavenly father on October 4, 2014. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Dean Bennett of Shreveport, brother Bubba Clower of Shreveport, sister Gena Alvarez and husband Greg of Houston, niece Janessa Morgan of Bossier City. R.D. was an avid Nascar fan and was often found at Boothill Speedway racing in the Pure Stock Division, a hobby he shared with his brother. His mother was always there to cheer on her #44 race car. His mother was the light of his life. R.D. also enjoyed coin collecting and was always eager to share the history of each "special" coin he found. He was also a lifelong fisherman. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday October 9, 2014 at the Aulds Funeral Home Chapel with visitation starting at 10 a.m. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4-7
