Shreveport,LA-Roddie went home to be with the Lord and his best friend his Daddy Saturday Feb. 20th 2016. He was born to Roger and Dorothy Jean Presley on June 30th 1951 in Shreveport. At 4 1/2 years old he began his racing career racing quarter midgets that his daddy built. He continued his career racing super stock dirt track throughout the ArkLaTex. He was an avid Harley enthusiast. He and his daddy established Roger Presley & Son Water Well Drilling Co. in 1976 and operated up until his passing.

He is proceeded in death by grandparents Randolph and Thelma Presley and "Pee Wee" and Hazel Cunningham and his Daddy.

He is survived by his wife Lorie, two daughters Lacey Stone and husband Chad. Ashley Howard and husband EJ. His mother Dorothy Jean Presley. Sister Jean Ann Ross and husband "Soupy." 5 grandchildren Kaleigh, Kaden, Carter Stone. Connor and Keragan Howard. Aunt and Uncle Betty Ann Hobden and Uncle Wee Wee. Nieces and nephews Lance, Ryan and wife Angela and Jennifer Ross. Regan, Kelsee, Presley, Landen, Tony "Antnie" Ross. Numerous friends and family. Special thanks to Hershel Cobb Jr, Jackie Roton, Mary Rains and his "Sista" Diane Jackson Graham and the Jackson family. Serving as pallbearers Tony Ross, Landen Ross, Jackie Roton, Frankie Wilson, John Cunningham and Billy Carr. Honorary pallbearers are Howard Beach, Johnny Byrd, James Hobden, Robert Jenkins, Mus Gillum, Gene Presley, and Patrick Hastings.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Blanchard with Dr. Doug Allen officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Blanchard Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 11 am until service time.
